Elizabeth-Ann (Betty) Gigliodoro was born on September 4, 1944 in Providence, Rhode Island. She sadly passed away on March 19, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. She was 79 years of age.

Betty is survived by her adoring children, Ronald Gigliodoro Jr. and his wife Linda Curtin, and Barbara Gigliodoro Paolo. Her sister, Carolyn Heron, and husband Jack Heron love her dearly. She is also deeply missed by her four grandchildren: John Gigliodoro, Sharon Gigliodoro, Jess Paolo, and Nicole Paolo; a niece and nephew. Countless extended family and life-long friends also mourn her absence and cherish her memory.

Betty joins her beloved husband, Ronald J. Gigliodoro, who passed away nine years prior. They met as teenagers and remained loved and committed to one another until the very end.

She dabbled in many different careers throughout her life, but her true passion was painting apparel to sell at craft fairs. Betty and Ron always enjoyed meeting fellow crafters and traveling worldwide. Their favorite places to visit were Las Vegas and Hawaii.

Along with travel, Betty was a hardcore bingo-enthusiast, lover of all things Disney, and a fan of Elvis Presley. Her collection of merchandise and news clippings rivals a museum. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and making new friends. Additionally, she loved treating her granddaughters to frequent breakfast and dinner dates.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Lifespan Cancer Institute or the American Cancer Society. She greatly appreciated all of her doctors and everything they did to help her live a long and fulfilling life.
